Colorado Springs School District 20 has guidelines in place to keep students safe.

To obtain a copy of District 20 policy, go to: www.asd20.org and click on Parents and Students on the left hand link. Go down on the page under Miscellaneous information and click on “Guidelines for Severely Allergic Students.”

The Rules by the Department of Education are tricky to get to. Go to: http://www.boarddocs.com/co/cde/Board.nsf/Public
Click on “Meetings” at the top task bar. Click on the + sign by 2009; click on the + sign by 11/12/2009; click on the + sign by “11.Action Items”; click on 11.15 pertaining to food allergies. Go toward the bottom of the page with the .pdf file Allergy Rules 11.03.09 all changes accepted.pdf.
