When you have an allergy in the family, you may be in need of new food ideas. This is a list I have compiled from my own child’s food and others in the MOSAIC allergy support group.
Always double check ingredient labels when shopping. To be safe, call company to make sure there aren’t any cross contamination issues. Each child’s sensitivities are different!
I hope this gives you some new ideas when shopping!

Tips for making food more exciting with food allergies:
-Cookie cutters are great for making sandwiches more exciting and fruit more fun to eat. There are ones for pancakes too!
-Buy fun plates and bowls. Smaller bowls on a plate can hold catsup or apple sticks. Buy divided trays – plastic ones are found at Walmart and I found more expensive ceramic ones at Whole Foods.
-Don’t be afraid to try recipes using your child’s allergy safe substitutions.
-Never get to eat out? Make fun menus for your child to order from or have them make them. Turn your kitchen into a diner! Make fake money for the tip.
-Check out www.divvies.com for special chocolate bunnies, halloween ghosts, christmas trees, etc. All dairy, egg and nut free.
